My wife Sherrie and I got to visit San Diego the week after we finished PADI Open Water certification. We did our certification in Utah (no nearby ocean!), and our time with Michael at the Cove was our first ocean diving experience. Michael was very patient with us and taught us some skills we hadn’t picked up in our certification classes. He took us on two dives in the Cove, each with unique experiences. He took the time to help us get the gear set up right (we had never worn 7mm wetsuits), and to feel comfortable in the water. We both enjoyed the dives immensely.
